Because it's practically blogger law (and because I personally really love reading posts like this), I wanted to do a quick roundup of my most popular blog posts of 2014. So glad I did! It was really fun for me to go back and look at the numbers, and I love that the list is a mix of most everything this blog is--beauty, fashion, parenting/mom stuff. Plus, it was really interesting (and surprising!) to see what came out on top!

10) The Best people to Follow On Instagram: The Cool Moms {Part 2}: I shared a few of my absolute favorite women to follow on Instagram. (Plus, here are six more awesome people to follow.)

9) Here Comes the...Big News: I had a big job announcement! And shared some of my wedding photos... 

8) The Night of Ten Trillion Elsas (+ Meet The #ShowMeYourElsa Winner): Unless you stayed shut indoors on Halloween, you know that Elsa was the most popular costume for little girls this year. Here are just a few of the cute, scary, crazy, funny Elsas to grace Instagram. (Big thanks to YahooStyle and Glamour for linking to this post!) 

7) What Really Happens When a Working Mom Stays Home With Her Kids For The Day: I'm so happy this one made the list because it was one of my favorite things that I wrote this year. It's a very honest, 100% true, and hopefully funny account of the very real panic that ensues when your nanny calls in sick at the last minute. Read it and weep.

6) The Best Scalloped Flats At Every Price: Who doesn't love cute shoes, right? So many people contacted me to let me know they bought one of my picks after reading this post. I love that!

5) 16 Cool Things You Need to Click On Today: My weekly link roundups have become more and more popular, which has been nice to see since I absolutely love putting them together each week. This one actually earned a spot as my 5th most popular post of the year--wow! (I believe it got picked up by the lovely Laura of Hollywood Housewife, so that certainly helped!)

4) #ShowMeYour Elsa Halloween Costume Contest: This was a crazy, last-minute idea I came up with on a total whim. I couldn't believe how it caught on like sparkly, blue-and-silver, fishtail-braided wildfire. 

3) The 52 Best Beauty Products: Beauty editors see every product that launches and we're constantly trying new things. But we still have those favorites that we always, always come back to. These are the 52 makeup, skin-care, and hair-care products that have earned a permanent place in my medicine cabinet.

2) How to Get the Most Perfect Red Lips (Plus A Version If You're Not a "Red Lips" Person): I gave tips for recreating the gorgeous red lips seen at the Dolce & Gabbana show. Plus, a few of my favorite red lipsticks. This post got picked up by Stripes & Sequins (thanks, Grace!), so that surely helped propel it to #2.

1) How to Throw a Cool Frozen Party: Here, I shared photos from my daughter's Frozen birthday party--plus gave some tips for throwing your own Anna-and-Elsa-themed shindig. The power of Elsa, man.
